Build Your Knowledge. Strengthen Your Farm Practices. Prepare for GLOBALG.A.P. Certification.

Are you a fruit and vegetable producer looking to understand and implement GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) requirements?

Our comprehensive, instructor-led producer training is designed to help growers, farm managers and producer groups develop a practical understanding of GLOBALG.A.P. IFA v6 requirements and how they apply to everyday farming operations.

Delivered live online by a GLOBALG.A.P. Registered Trainer, the programme combines structured learning, practical explanations and opportunities for questions and discussion.

Training Fee: €495 per participant

Duration: 15 hours across three live online sessions.

Outcome: Indepth understanding of IFA v6 requirements and improved preparedness for implementing good agricultural practices and pursuing independent certification.

This is a training programme, not a certification audit. Participation does not guarantee or confer GLOBALG.A.P. certification.

Who Should Attend?

This training is designed for individuals and organisations involved in fruit and vegetable production who want to develop a deeper understanding of GLOBALG.A.P. IFA v6 requirements

It is particularly relevant to:

  • Independent growers and small-scale producers seeking to understand GLOBALG.A.P. requirements and prepare their farms for certification.
  • Farm owners and managers responsible for implementing and maintaining good agricultural practices.
  • Producer groups and cooperatives looking to strengthen consistency and compliance across participating farms.
  • Farm supervisors and technical staff involved in production processes, record-keeping and operational controls.
  • Export-oriented producers seeking to understand the farm assurance requirements commonly encountered when supplying international markets.

No previous GLOBALG.A.P. certification is required to attend. Participants should, however, have some familiarity with fruit and vegetable production or farm operations.

What You Will Learn

Through this comprehensive, instructor-led programme, participants will develop a practical understanding of GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v6 requirements for fruit and vegetable production.

By the end of the training, you should be better equipped to:

  • Understand the GLOBALG.A.P. certification framework — including the purpose, structure and application of IFA v6 requirements.
  • Interpret the Principles and Criteria — understand how the relevant requirements apply to everyday fruit and vegetable production.
  • Strengthen farm management practices — explore requirements relating to food safety, traceability, worker health and safety, environmental management and responsible farming.
  • Improve documentation and recordkeeping — understand the records, procedures and supporting evidence relevant to demonstrating compliance.
  • Identify potential compliance gaps — recognise areas where existing farm practices may need improvement before an independent certification audit.
  • Understand the certification process — explore the key stages of preparing for assessment by an approved, independent certification body.
  • Plan practical next steps — identify actions to strengthen farm systems and improve certification readiness.

Practical, Interactive Learning

Training combines structured explanations of the authorised IFA v6 material with practical examples, facilitated discussions and opportunities to ask questions relevant to your farming operations.

Our emphasis is on helping you understand not only what the requirements say, but how to begin applying them in practice.

Training supports certification preparedness but does not replace a formal audit or guarantee certification
